    Timney Triggers in your Rimfire

I am also curious on the new version for the 455. I have been looking at getting one for mine for some time now.

Cyke Pod: Area 419 Arca lock or MPA RAT rail?

I agree with kthomas above about all the gizmos and barricade stops. However, 419 will be making their ARCA lock system for the MPA. You could get the standalone 419 barricade stop and roll with it that way...

    KRG Bravo Chassis

the barrel gets pretty hot in 8-10 rounds. I don't notice it walking, but have not had time to specifically check. In the sun that day I was not able to pick up the gun by the barrel it was so hot. For a 6.5 PRC at elr matches i would much prefer a heavy barrel both for heat and recoil. Even in...

    KRG Bravo Chassis

I only chamfered the back edge of the recoil lug slot slightly. The timney that came with the HAVAK rubbed the right hand side of the trigger cutout. The safety was rough to operate but still functioned. I did not sand this down in my Bravo, rather I swapped to a Huber. What other...

    6.5 PRC

There was a guy in the FB group who also got 147's up to that velocity with RL-23 in the FB group. It was a compressed load that required a drop tube as I recall. I haven't done much load development, but RL-26 has worked pretty well for me at 54.5 gr. I am at 2900 fps with that in a 24"...

    KRG Bravo Chassis

I will try to get some closer up pictures but here you can see the setup I ran. I wasn't planning on using that scope but my other one went down the day before a match. Here the bolt is in the rearward most position. I put the cheek rest just to where it would clear the bolt and the cheek weld...

    6.5 PRC load data

Factory 147gr Hornady ammo gave me a velocity of 2860fps today for 5 shots out of my Havak 24" barrel. I was kind of bumped to see a 53es and 19.5sd. Did not check grouping on paper.

    KRG Bravo Chassis

My Havak in my Bravo does not have that problem. I have even tried my scope with X-high rings in that and the bolt still cleared. My bravo was one of the first out and has the cutout in the cheek piece. I did notice if I were to run the cheek piece higher then it would hit. Cheek weld where the...

    6.5 PRC load data

That is interesting. My Seekins barrel is 24" and 54.5gr RL 26 gives me right at 2900 fps and those same reloading components. 198 rounds in and there has been no speed up. The hornady data shows that load as having a velocity of 3000 iirc.

PVA Status Updates: Hancock Rifle & NUCLEUS Barreled Action

I was just curious if with upward pressure on the mag, if the bolt hit the feed lips on the mag. I have a Nucleus in a different chassis and was curious if anyone tried it in the Bravo. This is minor fitting and modifications to the feed lips or mag release at best. I was just curious and have...

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

I think of rough as the motion of the bolt going fore and aft. Mine smoothed in the first 25 rounds. I think most bolt actions have some level of wear in. The bolt cams a bit hard on close but has little effort on lift. I ran my 6.5 PRC HAVAK in an ELR type club match and did not have an issue...

PVA Status Updates: Hancock Rifle & NUCLEUS Barreled Action

Did you try putting upwards pressure on the mag to see if the bolt catches the feed lips? I have not tried this yet with my bravo but experience it with another chassis I have. I am just curious if the mag catch will need to be filed down on the bravo as well.

Advanced Marksmanship Help me get better at PRS - Video attached - December Update

I am still learning myself and by no means an expert. The only thing I would comment on is the barrels. On the barrels laying down, you could get more contact points. The first one that was long ways, you still had room to push your bipod forward. This would allow you to get your knees up...

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

I dropped my Havak in a Bravo and fed 6.5 PRC without issue out of 2 unmodified ARC mags. I did not specifically try putting upward pressure on the mag in a barricade but can test that later and report back. I am able to dry fire from a prone position though with those mags with no issue. I ran...

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

My bolt smoothed up in the first 25-50 rounds. It is now very smooth and I am glad I made the purchase.
