    MDT .223 Magazine Issues

Oh yeah. They're worthless. The follower tilts and get stuck. Mine couldn't feed a round to the chamber, so MDT sent me an Accurate Mag that works sometimes. I started filing the feedlips back on the MDT and now I can get a round to the chamber maybe 35% of the time, but very roughly. I thought...

    223 version of the RPR

Mine went in a couple weeks before yours, so it'll probably only be a few more weeks for me.

    Curtis vs. Tempest

i think that's the state of the industry. Craftsmanship is really, really bad nearly across the board.

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI fair price?

Oh, so now "the turrets didn't line up" is the lie and the reason they didn't fix it is because after they refused to fix it, I flipped my shit. They must have had a crystal ball to know I'd tell the story of them fucking with me, so i'd deserve to get fucked with. Lie on, ladies.

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI fair price?

I'd let it go if people didn't keep lying about it. I mean lie after lie after lie. It's pathetic.

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI fair price?

But it's true, and you know it's true, and yet you keep lying about it.

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI fair price?

You know what would be cool? If Steiner would repair or replace the product at no charge. But they will not, as they do not honor their warranty and have repeatedly refused to do so in a passive aggressive manner. They do not respond to calls, emails, etc. I messaged them on facebook, they...

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI fair price?

I'm glad Steiner says they have a warranty. Too bad they do not honor their warranty. I appreciate being called a liar and a troll when i tell the truth. It makes it easy to categorize the accuser.

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI fair price?

Mine went back four times, but they refused to service it as they do not honor their warranty against manufacturing defects. I do like that they give it a fancy name, though. The Steiner Heritage Warranty(TM)* *This warranty does not cover: manufacturing defects, service, parts, etc.

    CZ 557 Varmint Rifle

Don't use wedge tip screwdrivers on your rifles. Those are for wood screws and such.

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI fair price?

Mine was $1,100. Buy from a reputable dealer, as Steiner does not honor their warranty, and a refund is your only recourse if the scope is faulty. Inspect and test it carefully.

Suppressors Witt Machine Integral must be sorcery?

To be clear, you're saying the silencer significantly quieted the action of the rifle? You believe this integrally suppressed rifle firing live ammunition is a shitton quieter than dry firing a normal RPR?

    Suppressors Best .22lr suppressor

I'd say Liberty, but if you get a bad 22 silencer in 2017, bravo. That would be impressive.

Suppressors Witt Machine Integral must be sorcery?

There is some serious tedium and expense in metering cans. For instance, the duration required for the meter to read. Shorter than mil-spec, your numbers will tell you the can is louder than milspec would. Longer than mil-spec will tell you the can is quieter than mil-spec would. There's...

Suppressors Witt Machine Integral must be sorcery?

I think it's safe to call foul, but this isn't rare. Stick to third party testing if you want comparable, mil-spec data. A fired shot being significantly quieter than dry fire is uh... interesting. The can must reflex over the cocking piece.

    Curtis vs. Tempest

That's the kind of smooth I thought I was buying into with a $1,300 action. Turns out I was buying into a 6 lug Mosin Nagant. Lesson learned. I'm sure if I bought that Curtis it'd be similar and I'd come on here and bitch about it just the same instead of just buying a Win70 that's a known...

    Curtis vs. Tempest

I've got militec lube in it. The improvement was due to wearing away the finish. Whatever it came coated with is rubbery and gooey and sloughed off in places. I didn't put 2 and 2 together on the finish being the cause for the action being so bad. I asked GAP what the finish was, but they...

Uhh... McRees may want to rethink this one? Maybe?

Ah, ok. Thanks. I stay vertical because I have this crazy dream that one day I'll hold a rifle to my left shoulder and not be awful.

    223 version of the RPR

I'll look out for that. Thank you! As for cratering, if that happens, I'm out. Popped primers stuck in the firing pin chanel are a PITA and can end a day of shooting.
