Good.
People down South give me a hard time for not being a member of the NRA anymore, however, I will not be part of any organization that agrees to "compromise " our 2nd Amendment away.
I think that having the ability to dial high on the magnification (greater than 20x) when you need it is great for things like zeroing you're rifle and sometimes target ID. Also, having a 25x scope and shooting targets at 1000m on 12x helps me greatly due to the FOV where I can see wind, mirage...
I live in South Arkansas so all of these high power optics are useless to me. Anything over about 18x is relatively unpleasant due to mirage and whatnot. Plus, I have no problem shooting well over 1000m with 12x with my AMG. Doesn't matter how "good" your glass is. I've had Minox, TT, etc....its...
Shoot more, clean less.
Clean if you're going to store your rifle for a lengthy time.
Clean if your rifle starts shooting poorly. Let your rifle tell you when to bathe it.
Santa Claus isn't real and neither is barrel break in.
Here is one mans opinion.
The 6.5 Creedmoor is a fantastic cartridge for getting into long range. It has also done a TON of good for the long range community.
Most of us are enthusiasts here. We generally can weed through the bullshit that comes along with hobby shooters and the 6.5...
WTB Stock for Tikka T3x CTR SA. I prefer a composite stock like Manners, JCS Composites etc (more traditional style). Let me know what you guys have. Email or PM is fine.

I prefer the AMG. I've never been a fan of super heavy rifles and the eyebox is negligible if the rifle is set up properly. I believe the AMG has better resolution, deals with CA better, and has better turrets. Low light performance is similar. If you can get the AMG for less than 2k, jump on it.
I'm interested to see how the ZCO and AMG compare. 4x erector vs 5x erector and 36mm vs 30mm tube will be interesting. My AMG sample has impressed me against some very high end optics.
