This is hilarious. It’s literally a synopsis of how to be a worthless modern man. I’ve got no problem with decorating or communicating with children, I’m decent at both. But I can also punch a face or eat a still warm animal when necessary. 99% of people have no idea how close the the edge we are of being thrown back in time 100 years. These people think the grocery stores just stay full of food. Let an EMP, storm, solar flare, grid failure, etc... stop electronics and fuel and you have about 48 hours until it is no shit the Wild West and all shelves are empty. Those skills will come is handy at that point. The man they are describing will be in a fetal position while his family is being ravaged by roaming gangs of thugs.

And the reason for the break-up would not be about politics at all, but rather, her attitude. The folks who are adopting the philosophy in OP's article are doing it because our society has gone for such a long time without a significant disruption to life, as in plague, warfare or a natural catastrophe such as an electromagnetic storm that shuts down most of the electrical and computer grid. People who are currently living in parts of the world where strife and warfare is endemic, like Syria and Ukraine, tend to not be complacent or pussified at all, unless they want to die quickly.
Good times create weak men. Weak men will create bad times. The weather will be changing very soon, as history has proven again and again. I wish I'd kept my grandfather's razor when my grandmother offered it to me. I didn't think anything of it then... Wasn't into "old stuff" like that really and I also never knew him. If I had, I'd probably have kept it for that reason alone and then I'd still have it. Damn. Can't go back now. I think people are getting sick of paying $50 a month + to shave, so a lot have stopped or found cheaper alternatives. They lost those customers. Then there's people who HAVE to shave, like soldiers, and they still have their business more or less. So why not make SJW LGBTQLMNOP+ (it gets longer everyday) advertisements?

This. I never really understood what is the point of therapy anyway. If I am faced with a problem, big or small, I prefer real, solid, tangible, and preferably immediate solutions to that problem. Therapy is not going to provide that. I am a results and rewards motivated person. If doing something does not yield me immediate rewards and gains that I can put to use right away, I simply have no interest in it.
Perhaps I am one of the few odd ducklings who think that way. Or perhaps not. It'll be interesting to get some more feedback from a wider audience on this subject.

I love when the old lady's buddies come for a visit and Im working on whatever, changing oil, etc. They'll go float, hike or whatever and i'll make a badass elk dinner (I love to cook but mostly to get out of the hike, etc and listening to them for to long).
