Cz457 Varmint in a KRG Bravo with the vortex razor HD.
still running it in, and Decent ammo is hard to find right now. Current favourite (but tighter than cci std) is Eley Force
Never bothered with buying match type ammo for rimfire. might have to change that
Evening all,
looking at a buddies .22LR pistol that doesn’t like extraction.
it’s got some light scoring inside the chamber that I think may well be the culprit.
Anyone know of a decent flex home for .22LR- can only seem to find one for .17HMR/ 22Mag
Mine developed an issue, sent it in, got a new one in return.
It’s a fairly decent spotter for the price. Especially with the MRAD reticle.
If I could find a pair of binos with a. Good MRAD ret I’d probably swap out.
This is using the actual MV’s recorded at the range using 108 ELD-M in the barrel lengths listed. Then put into 4DOF. It’s using whatever Bc is in there. (Which hasn’t let me down using 6Creedmoor)
hasnt been trued yet using Axial Form Factor though. That may change the charts slightly.
the most reliable Mags for .22LR AR's are the S&W M&P mags. coupled with a Boonie packer better mag adapter, giving you hold open etc.
Personally Ive found that chambering in .22bentz gives a nice accurate chamber, and a little work on the CMMG collar ensures reliable feeding/ extraction...
Thats from the UK, London Proof 2018. Probably a Lothar Walther or possibly a Sassen (formerly Border Barrels- tack drivers)- Not sure if they're using them.
Interesting fact, Accuracy International are one of the only gunmakers in the UK who don't send their guns to the proof House. they send...
Ill do another vote for Chas, Id been back and forth while before finally dropping on it. I asked if I could get it in time for a match in 3 weeks, and it arrived about 5 days later.
Picture is in the Accuracy International Thread.
Gets its first true run out this weekend at our club match
My new bag arrived.
Tried a multitude of bags over 2 matches (one gas gun, one bolt) really liked the Udder over the Game Changer and Fortune cookie.
So I bought the Saracen, dropped it on top of my photography tripod.
Got hands on with one today. Feels like it’ll hold up to reasonable use, probably wouldn’t take it to war. But it’s not too shabby, locks up pretty solid, the cant is easy to control with the large knob underneath.
