I don't expect it to be much quieter supersonic but hoping it does make a difference subsonic.

    Suppressors What suppressor?

Glad I bought he 9 inch then. Bought the 7" in 6.5 for my Creedmoor but that should be fine for that application.

    Suppressors .458 socom suppressed

Thanks. Just ordered 5 boxes of 20 and am excited to give them a go. Should have my Bowers 458 can approved in the next week or two as well. Any good load data on the 500g? I have only loaded supersonic so far.

The Makers 500g sounds very similar to the Outlaw bullets I am looking at

    Suppressors What suppressor?

That's exactly what I would expect. going from 5-7-9 inch ultra then 338. I just have the Ultra 9 for now but a 338 looks like it is in my future.

Suppressors Omega: ASR vs Direct Thread

I agree and I've never had any trouble getting in on or having it fall off. (Knock on wood and crossing my fingers)

    Suppressors What suppressor?

I would love to compare the TB 338 to the Ultra 9 on a 308! I had thought about doing the same but wasn't sure about the size, cost and weight. I'm itching for a 338 Lapua so maybe I just will... in a year or so... when it would get approved.

Suppressors Omega: ASR vs Direct Thread

Yes. IMO, it is slightly quieter with the muzzle brake as it acts like an extra baffle. Down side is a little more length

Suppressors Crap. I think I need another suppressor

I agree. However, I already had an Octane 45 and several pistons and fixed spacer for everything I own so I ordered the Rugged as it takes the same pistons.

Just ordered some and waiting for production. My experience with subsonic 300BLK with hogs here in TX was that it just punched a hole and did little damage unless shot placement was perfect. 50% of the time, the hogs ran off but the ones that didn't had very small exit holes and I often hit...

Rifle Scopes True Return to Zero mounts

Currently, I have LaRue, Bobro and Alamo 4 star (now ZROdelta). All have performed well but I prefer the Alamo four star. The Bobro performed the best on testing but the 34mm mount is a fat pig. You've probably seen this, but info here on a test done on these mounts...

    Rifle Scopes Trijicon 1-8 impressions?

I just purchased on for my son for 3 gun. I have a Kahles 1-6 but was curious how it compared. My only complaint is that is does not seem to be a true 1x scope. Just very slight magnification. Glass is good, FOV good, green reticle is quick to pick up. Wasn't sure if I would steal it from him...

Rifle Scopes Looking for an alternate to a nightforce

I had the same dilemma and ended up with the Kahles 624i. I have a Nightforce NXS and I genuinely think the Kahles is a better option. Haven't taken it off the rifle to beat someone with it so can't say on durability however...

    Night Vision Armasight/Flir Customer Service

I can speak from the FLIR side of customer service and it has been excellent. Fixed a scope that went down (probably due to user issues) at no cost and had it back really quick.Their track record with service has been great with FLIR products. I think the question here is how well will they...

Night Vision NV + Thermal - Help me decide the roles they suit.

These 2 thermals are the best I have seen/owned. I have only owned 5 but have looked through several others. I have been able to see and ID animals with these scopes that other hunters could not see on a FLIR, Zeus, Pulsar, Armasight, etc. If they could see them, they had no idea what they were...
