    I have been hunting the buck above in the trailcam photo. If you look at the photo closely, you can see my woods stand about 25 yards in front of him; didn’t make it out that morning. The stand is just inside the woods at the end of the plot.

    I can’t remember the last time I shot a deer anywhere other than the neck. I have a 10 year old, and every deer he has killed has been in the neck. He has kilted them out to 300 yards. Two reasons for a neck shot. One, you don’t have to look for them. Two, you don’t have to look for them...

    6.5 creedmoor giving me fits in an AR10

    I’ve had 2 of those barrels, one 6.5 Creed and one 308 Win, both had the same issue your having. Changed barrels from different manufacturer; problem solved. That’s just my experience with BA. Others I know, have had good success with those barrels.
