    i use a 300 Blackout as my main hunting rifle mostly running subs, hand load Lehigh 168gr CF for deer and 208gr ELD for goats. 291 deer killed in 5 years and 2000+ feral goats , she is a awesome little round with the right ammo and shot placemen. works good on pigs too.

    It must of been a good drop to do that. That’s the main reason I buy Nightforce scopes, robustness and reliable turrets. Have dropped and nocked mine plenty of times climbing and off the quad bike while moving and still stay on zero and tracking reliably.

Running a NXS compact 2.5-10x42 zero stop MOAR, 60m zero with subs set on turret zero and super set on the zero stop +9 MOA above the subs zero, it just a matter of range, dail and shoot really easy. 300m is the farthest I’ve shot a deer with this rig.     3 years back I had a Tikka T3 223rem rebarreled to a 12” 1:7 300 blackout. This is my main hunting rifle and running subs 90% of the time. Coming up to 200 deer and 1800+ goats with this rig. Head shot this stag between the eyes at 251m with a 208gr A-max subsonic handload.

    Rifle Scopes Sako Finnlight and a AtacR 4-16x50

    I’m running a 4-16x42F1 ATACR on a Sako 75 Finnlite and a NEAR rail with Warne low rings. I did have 3.5-15x56 NXS before and the ATACR is a lot better than the odd NXS.
