    Re: 178 A-MAX in here please. I am going to try to ressurect the chrony inthe next day or so. I may speed it up a tad and see, however, it is already my go to hunting load. I can place it well out my my sps at range. I know though that it is something I am doing wrong most likely for the 5R

    Re: Remington 5R guys............ Full length. Chrony took a dump today so no mumbers. However, I put some 175's in FGM brass, FL sized, riding on 45.7g of IMR 4320, and I was very happy with the results.

    178 A-MAX in here please.

    I loaded up some 178 amax for my 5r and I can tell you that I have not found the right load. The horizontal dispersion is laughable. However, the same load from my sps-tac is sub-MOA! Is this due to the substantial amount of contact between the projectile and the barrel? The 1:12 20" sps...
