    Re: rebarrel AR-30 I got the info that I needed from A10XRIFLE, this barrel will work. It should be quite an improvement from the old one. It is 35", now to figure the best finished length.

    I am a noob that is looking for help. I have been told that I need to know the breech diameter to ensure I get the correct size barrel. I am hoping someone here can tell me the breech diameter on the AR-30lm. Thanks, Ray

    Gunsmithing rebarrel AR-30

    I have a chance to buy the following barrel blank,Krieger .338 SS blank #17 altered contour-5" straight 1.25", then tapering to .9" at the muzzle. I would like to know if this would be compatible with the AR-30 that currently has the stock 338lm 26' barrel. Thanks, Ray
