    Re: $3000 budget sorry for the lack of info. this scope will be going on stiller tac 30 .260. My purpose for this rifle would simply be a target shooter/benchrest. The farthest targets at the range i go to are 600 yards. I'm a novice to this sport, and i can't even hit 600 yard targets yet...

    Re: short barrel reaching 1000k no apologies needed, and yes, i do see 1000 yard as marker/goal, but i honestly dont think i'll be hitting 1000 yard targets for awhile for multiple reason, one, the range i go to the farthest targets is 600 yards, and second i'm obviously new to this sport...
