Night Vision B E Meyer laser

I had one in Iraq. If the beam could be narrowed down, it would make a hell of a weapon sight, but as it is, I think the beam makes about a 3 foot circle at 100 yards give or take. As mentioned above, not really useful unless you need to temporarily blind someone.

knights ff ras fit 308 ar?

5.56 model is definitely too small. The barrel nut and receiver threads are much larger on a .308 platform.

knights ff ras fit 308 ar?

I don't think the 5.56 model is gonna work. Knight's makes a 7.62 model of the FF RAS that was used on the Mk11 rifles. SR-25 RAS Free Floating Barrel Knight's Armament Company SR-25 RAS Free Floating Barrel [P/N: 20362-1] - $506.66 : Knights Armament, ::Welcome to our Online Store

    KAC SR-25 flash hider removal?

I've heard that the trick with Rocksett is to "shock" it with a good smack from a delrin hammer or a block of wood. It's worked for me in the past when swapping AAC mounts.

Anyone running an upgraded trigger in their SCAR??

I've got a Geissele in my 16S. Night and day difference from the stock trigger. Yes it's pricey, but well worth the cost IMO.

Ring suggestions for KAC Mod1 and Vortex 1-4

Another +1 for the KAC mount if you don't need to remove it frequently. Nightforce makes a nice 1 piece mount as well. If you're set on a QD/throwlever mount, LaRue and ADM both make nice stuff. I've got products from all of those mentioned above, but I really like my KAC mount.

    Pistol powder recommendation

I prefer PowerPistol myself, good velocities but horrendous muzzle flash. If you don't like flamethrowers, you'll want to try something else.

    lake city 7.62 brass

Re: lake city 7.62 brass I just picked up 1000 pieces of 7.62 Lake City brass from Wideners for $259. It's listed as LC NATO brass that was pulled down, still primed. Much to my surprise, about 75% was actually LC LR brass. I culled out a few that had crushed necks or other deformities...

    Loadng 9mm for a carbine

Re: Loadng 9mm for a carbine Another +1 for Power Pistol. Even less than max loads seem to be moving out of pistols and carbines. I've even shot it in a F/A sten gun and uzi and you can definitely notice the increased rate of fire compared to a weaker round like Wolf but I've never had a...

    Rifle Scopes Trijicon TA31RCO-M150 ACOG...

Re: Trijicon TA31RCO-M150 ACOG... The M-150 is the Army adopted & issued version of the TA31RCOM4. It has the ARD with laser filter and flip caps. They are both calibrated for a 14.5" barrel. I imagine the Army added the flip caps and called it the M-150 just to be different than the...

Ultimate 4x4 Range Vehicle Under $10k

Re: Ultimate 4x4 Range Vehicle Under $10k I'd look for a old M1009 CUCV (K5 Blazer). 3/4 ton, 4x4, no A/C & only 2 doors, but it'll carry 4 guys and shooting gear. I bet you could get one for under $5K and they usually all have pretty low mileage. You could do a lot of mods and make an...

    1000yd range WI/IL/IN

Re: 1000yd range WI/IL/IN Young's Long Shot Range - Membership required, but it's a nice range and well worth it assuming you can make it there regularly. I've met a few other guys from the Chicago area that make the drive.

    which plate carrier

Re: which plate carrier I'm partial to Eagle and Paraclete gear although Diamondback Tactical, SOTech, and Tactical Tailor all make great stuff as well. As long as it's American made, it should serve you well regardless of the brand. Just find one with the features you want. ETA: Make...
