    Tr-mix gas for welding stainless just came back down to under $300 for a 280 cu/ft bottle. Guess I better head down and see if I can get my other 2 bottles filled before they stop selling it again.

    Been a stay around the place kind of guy my whole life. Was going to retire at the beginning of this year and decided it was a stupid idea. I work at home most of the time and being in the shop making parts is just what I do.

    Since pigs don't seem to do well here in California, I have been watching Texas to see if the pig numbers were going down with all the people from CA moving there. Unfortunately they didn't so it must be something in the air or water that makes CA inhospitable.

    I've seen so many false alarms in the last 30 years that I said the hell with it. When you have enough primers, powder and bullets to last 10 lifetimes and thousands of rounds of ammo for calibers you don't even shoot, what's the point. I've been trimming way back.     I can't help but wonder if the crew on one of the aircraft carriers is going to be wearing red uniforms like the guys in Star Trek. You remember the away teams in Star Trek. The guys in red are the ones that get killed off.
