    fake scout sniper?

with my job I am constantly telling my story infront of thousands of thousands of people on a monthly basis, at the end of every speech I get the posers wanting to shake my hand and begin to regale me with their stories of valor as a super secret CIA, state dept, contractor, SF, ranger, seal...

Need gift ideas from Iraq/Afgan vets for deployed nephew

the things I always requested when I was deployed was Copenhagen, Marlboro's, cigars, real jerky, gum (lots of it) good headlamp, bright led flashlights (small ones) a slew of those cheap 5 dollar games like poker and such, go pro cameras, medaglia d'oro instant espresso, hot choc packets, smart...

Most Accurate factory 50bmg on the market???

due to just the ballistic coefficient alone, the 50 will never shoot as well as the groups you can get with the 338's especially the further out you go. not to mention the hit your wallet will take trying to make the fiddy shoot like a 338. its like putting a garbage truck in a wind tunnel.

Short-Term Storage / Maintenance of AR's and Other Rifles.

with ammo becoming harder and harder to get it is also becoming cheaper quality and more corrosive, typically your bore (at least) should be scrubbed and lubed and capped before setting it aside. The gas systems are usually hit the hardest and are alot easier to clean right after your last shot...

    Who here has given up....

not me, I make a cash living off deflating coyotes and pretty damn hard to break the regime after 2 years in the sand box with it. considering my professions have all carried the round by my side I am pretty much married to it, but I use my M14 just as much

Most Accurate factory 50bmg on the market???

I think there is something being overlooked with your question, the 50 compared to the 338 family is like comparing a sledgehammer to a scalpel, the ballistic coefficient between these two platforms is almost double and even more in some cases. the inaccuracy of a 50 vs. the 338's is about as...

    Suppressor increasing group size?

the can is usually never the problem, I would say its the smithing work on the threading, in the past I have taken cans apart and painted the inside diameter surfaces of the baffles, then fired on round through it and then disassembled the can again and inspected the baffles for any spots where...

Thought I would quit lurking and stat posting and contributing to the community you guys have fostered here. have to say there are some pretty sharp minds on here and I like the group effort in helping the younger, non military and less experienced in getting some good info and skill sets. Bravo...
