    Yes. I posted a thread on this, and at least one other user had an issue. Our issue was the little pin that moves in and out when you actuate the safety. As was recommended to me, mount the action in the chassis and loosen the bolts enough to work the safety with some friction. Work it back...

    So this was the answer. The issue was pin 1 from the other thread that goes in and out when the safety is worked. I ended up filing out the notch in the Aluminum backbone about 3/32 wide and 1/16 deep with a set of hobby files found at Home Depot for $10. VERY happy how the build turned out...

    Very helpful-I will examine these areas. The Elite is a little different than the stock Timney, but the pin moving in ands out may be my issue.
