Sidearms & Scatterguns 9MM Wins - Thanks FBI

FBI are not the only federal agency. LE and 1811's shoot much more than your avg cop or deputy. No they aren't all gun nuts, and yes many have financial and accounting backgrounds beacuse that is what they investigate. The Academies, follow up FLETC, and regular shoot regime most have result in...

Sidearms & Scatterguns 9MM Wins - Thanks FBI

Well documented with .40 Glocks & M&P's they have issues. The M&P much more than the Glock, but there is a reason agencies are dumping them wholesale, and its not just cost. DocGKR "As noted, 9 mm Glocks have demonstrated substantially better durability than .40 versions; this is a pattern...

Sidearms & Scatterguns 9MM Wins - Thanks FBI

Thats not the point. The difference is getting hits on target, which is easier, quicker, cheaper and more reliable with 9MM than the .40 Glock .40 problems are well documented, from accuracy, to reliability to pre-mature parts wear..... and amazingly these problems go away when a dept goes to...

Sidearms & Scatterguns 9MM Wins - Thanks FBI

And the effect on the target is too similar to notice a difference. So why limit your capacity, increase recoil, increase wear/tear on weapon, decrease reliability in a platform the caliber was not designed for, and at much higher cost? If people look at why the .40 was selected years ago, they...

Sidearms & Scatterguns 9MM Wins - Thanks FBI

The other assumption that FED's can't shoot, its pretty far from reality. Compared to Local/County/State, the FED's actually take shooting seriously, and put alot of lead down range. They also shot ALOT more throughout the year the previously mentioned. All of the FED LE and 1811's I know shoot...

Exactly. The only real benefit that .40 had was better penetration through Laminated Glass (windshields). Modern bonded bullets have made that a moot point. Many problems can also be attributed to making .40 work in a system that was desgined around 9mm.

Rifle Scopes Leupold Mk4 and Mk6, help me decide

Any reason you are looking at just Leupy? Is it beacuse of their Military discount program? Just trying to get some more info. There are also new Steiner products coming online in the next few months in that same price range. From the Specs and their history of making great optics, it would...

Rifle Scopes Leupold Mk4 and Mk6, help me decide

Mk4 is like buying a 1995 Honda Civic that has sat in a garage for 20 years and has 10 miles on the odemeter. Granted they now have FFP/34MM, but they are a little late to the party. Especialy at the insane prices they want for them. It's old tech, and grossly overpriced for what you get...

Economical places to order AR small parts from?

Depends what quality of parts you want. Unfortunatley, for high quality small parts (that only a very small or singular entity actually produce) you are stuck with paying crazy money for each or above average for something like a Colt LPK and canabilzing it for parts.

Seekins Precisions new 308 Taking orders now!

The Hi Speed (Match and DMR) are the AR trigger all others are judged on. Not knocking it in anyway, but offering an option like that is going to help you sell a lot more rifles to people like me, who would just build a gun since I have to drop another $300 on my trigger set. Someone who is...

I assume the ~29 is for the 3-15? Really makes the 5-25 a more attractive package with the small price and weight differences..... Lose 2x on the low end, gain 10x and only 3 oz. Is there an updated/current reticle for the 1-5? Thanks again for Dropping in here and awsnering these...

Rifle Scopes Browe BCO vs. ACOG

Yea, and its even worse for the guys who bought the MK-6 when it first came out and even with a military discount, the Illuminated model was North of $3K?????? How do you sell non illuminated for $1500 and Illuminated for $3K+ on the military side. They have since dropped the price of...

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite 3.5-21x50 DMR for 20% hunting and 80% long range?

They make the 6-24 and the 3-12 iin illuminated mil dots if thats your thing. Personaly I would rather have the G2 reticle and no Illum than the MD w/ illum. Illumination is overrated unless its used as a red dot or for reflex firing with a quickness IMO.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite vs. Vortex PST FFP

G2 DMR illuminated would be just about the perfect reticle IMO. It is the one thing I dislike about bushnell ET optics.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite vs. Vortex PST FFP

You know that is confidence when they give you your money back no questions asked. What you pay is not what the company sold it for. They take a Huge loss when they do this, and I know of no other that does the same.

Rifle Scopes Browe BCO vs. ACOG

It was not an absolute. Using one or two examples in no different then the guys who say their Countersniper works great so buy with confidence. Of course there are combat vets, scrolls, CIB's, and a bunch of BTDT with AMU. They guys who shoot and win internationaly, are not the same. The...
