Sidearms & Scatterguns m&p pro trigger question. gritty?

Too add to my previous comment, problem I had with the stock trigger. It seemed like it had a split second delay between the time the sear broke and the firing pin " let loose" making it difficult to keep a steady trigger pull. Kind of reminded me of shooting a spring piston air gun.

Sidearms & Scatterguns m&p pro trigger question. gritty?

Have the CORE with the RMR with the green triangle, older eyes can't get good site focus anymore. Dry firing the pistol I can really see the triangle moving throughout the trigger squeeze with the stock trigger. Almost impossible to keep the gun steady with the factory trigger. Installed the...

    Suppressors Cleaning a suppressor.

There was a post on this awhile back. The people from Thunder Beast Arms recommended CLR for cleaning carbon out of suppressors.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

The "hump" on the bottom 1/3 of the grip, makes for an unnatural grip angle. Also had to get the dremel out cause my middle finger rides up against the bottom of the trigger guard. Grip ergonomics leave allot to be desired. For me anyhow.

    Rifle Scopes Moar-t

Hmmm, seems rather odd that Nightforce would use different sub tends for the same reticle irregardless of the model scope.

    Rifle Scopes Moar-t

Last I checked the MOAR sub tended about 1.3 inches at 100 yards and the MOAR t sub tends about the same as the NPR 1, about 2/3 of an inch.

6.5 CM or 6.5 Lapua? New to build on older Savage 10 .308

Had to make the same decision also. I chose the Lapua cuz everything I reload for takes small rifle primers. Don't have to mess with changing equipment around. I don't shoot the big stuff, yet anyhow.

    New savage model 12 .223

Have the model 12 BVSS, put a manners tactical with the adjustable cheek piece but not the butt hook. The stock took a little fitting, spent a couple hours one evening with the gunsmith installing it. The rear pillar needed shortening, it was raised too far for my model, gunsmith took care of...

Suppressors Suppressor weight change with use

Was on the phone couple months ago with a lady from Thunder Beast Arms, the subject of cleaning suppressors came up. She said they have had good luck with "CLR", a common cleaner found in hardware stores.

    Kaboom at Manatee today!

Shooting rimfires suppressed, i is harder to detect squibs cause they are pretty quiet. One evening was trying to get some groups in before the light faded. A shot didn't sound right, thought maybe it was a complete dud, ejected it and tryinchambering the next one, wouldn't chamber. Lucky for...

    Suppressors carbon deposits on brake

Had a carbon build-up on the muzzle of my 300 whisper. Shot it year without doing anything bout it. The build-up got thicker with time, so time to do some thing about it. It was a very hard substance almost like it would require a hammer and chisel to remove. Tried some polishing compound...

    Suppressors SS Sparrow

My Gunsmith moved the front sight back at the same time he did the barrel threading, looks just like corey4's pics. I got rid of most of the "lawyered up" stuff they stuck on the MKIII.

    Suppressors SS Sparrow

The sparrow has an O ring in front of the threads, a nice feature ot stop any blowback that might dirty-up the treads. SilencerCo sells adapters that screw on the end of the barrel that would take advantage of the O ring feature. I had my Ruger MKIII barrel machined exactly like the adapter...

Suppressors Questions about Direct Thread Sound Suppressors

My suppressor's have more threads in them than I will ever use. The important thing is to have your barrel threads all the same thread depth so you don't "carbon up" threads you would use if you switch rifles that would have varying thread depths. My center fire rifles have ~ .630 thread depth...

Rifle Scopes Nightforce MOAR & NP-R1 Reticles

About six months ago I was trying to decide between the two. Chose the NP-R1 because would be doing mostly paper punching with the rifle and scope. If i recall right the reticle on the MOR subtends about double the NP-R1. For that reason i chose the NP-R1, wanted the finer recticle. The MOR is...
