Suppressors AAC 762 SDN6 for use with a 300 Win Magnum?????

I would also say no, too much pressure. End cap would flare outward. Plus a crap load of carbon through the mounting threads, might lock it up on you. Suggest buying a magnum can such as a titan or other 338 rated can. Sucks but thats the game. Jesse James

Suppressors Surefire Socom7.62 mini with 300 blackout?

300 blk with super sonic out of my AAC sdn6, AAC 762sd, and a surefire socom762 is still pretty loud in both sbr and 16". Subsonic you'll have no issues with the short can. Supersonic it might get a little annoying, hearing safe i think not by the numbers, but still tolerable. They say my AAC...

Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

Well, got back from a rather large coyote hunt last week and thought I would add to my previous comments in regards to the scopes. Overall, we had a great weekend with numerous coyote kills. The majority of the kills were taken with rifles mounted with the FLIR's. As stated before, I have a...

    Suppressors 30cal QD suppressor

Have a bunch of 762 cans from different companies. If i had to do it all over again this is what i would have settled on instead of buying them like legos and GI-Joes. 1. AAC element - 22 can, take apart, quiet, and great support (done deal) 2. AAC Tyrant 45 short - best all around...

Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

Well been playing with these things for a few weeks now, getting ready for a coyote hunt in TN in the next few days. Here are my 2-centavos. 1. Packaging is top notch. Ended up getting 3 of the 35mm 640 1-9 units. One of the units came with a slight imperfection in the rear ocular glass...

Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

Great news all around. Just got word that my 13-month can wait is over and that my 12-month rifle build is shipping today. Now I just need an email from FLIR. Looking forward to fedex as well. Looks like SkyPup gets first dibs. Any chance I can take a peek SkyPup? Gotta help out the local...

    Suppressors cleaning suppressors?

I've tried all kinds of crap. The dip works, but make sure that there is not aluminum before you make an expensive mistake. Also, watch out for weird alloy cans as the dip will pit them as well. I've had luck with lightly coating my brakes with anti seize but when you forget it's on there and...

Suppressors Looking for a 308 suppressor

IMHO, if I had to do it all over again I would have just bought my aac titan qd for all my bolt guns. Expensive, but was worth it. Best can I own for a bolt gun hands down. Surefire, aac, and YHM are all great cans. TBA as well. research silencer tests online and talk to people as you are...

Suppressors Help with ar15 suppressor choice

I beat the crap out of my mini4, but that's 556 only. I run it on my shrike and a bunch of other fa stuff. Favorite can for the application on an sbr. I like my sdn6 but only for 762 and 300bo. Only other can that I would recommend for a 556 sbr is the Kac qdss. I have tried to melt that...

Anyone have a Core30 Tac LR?

I picked up one of the first four out the door and tried to break it for some feedback on its overall operation. Came as a 16" 1:10 stainless with the tac pack, they also used Montana blanks as well. So far the round count is at about 650 or so. The gun likes 168 and 175 grain, but shoots...

    Suppressors Which break & 1 can system for 556/223 & 762/308 rifles????

My first can for the same purpose was a YHM 762 ss qd. Great can and indestructible, but a little on the heavy side. I'm also not to fond of the yhm mounts but still use the can once in a while For testing. After purchasing many other cans over the last few years I have found that the AAC...

Rifle Scopes Day 1, Leupold M5 Locking Turrets 6-20x

I'm also torn between the mark4 34mm m5a2 in h58 and the 3x18 mark6 in h58. Scope is going on a 24" 308 to be used for plate shooting out to 1k. Called mike at cs and he favored the mark 6, due to being shorter and newer design. I like the m58 for hold overs and plate shooting. If I was going...

    Remington RACS

Very true. Cadex was paid to assist in the design and programming of the original racs chassis. Remington tweaked the design and found an American company to manufacture the product for t&e and modifications for the psr contract for the MSR. The original intent was to produce the racs for...

    Remington RACS

I picked up one of the few short action racs that were released to industry partners. It is currently on its way over to AJ Browns shop for a M40e1 build that ive been trying to put together for some time now. Distributor pricing is just below 4k with suggested retail at 4500. IMHO the...
