I have been gone from this forum and shooting in general for about 5 years. Now that I am retired, I am BACK and very interested. I have a .408 and a collection of the 305 and 419 LRBT bullets. Quick question about .408 Chey and its wildcats.

Hello guys, Im thinking about a future project using either a .338 or .375 round based off the .408 Chey-Tac case. My main question is one of reloading dies. Does the .408 case use a standard press or the .50BMG with the larger dies? thanks, Jerid

Current military use of the 408 CT?

A friend (spanish legion) is telling me that Turkey is using the CheyTac M200 in 408 CT for their SF. Does anybody knows if is this rifle or another one in 408 CT is in current use (officially, not just a few test samples) with the US military? If so, what load are they using? Thanks in advance

    Chey Tac .408 Loads/Bullets/Dies

I have a Chey Tac 200 rifle at the store where I work part-time in Louisville, Ky. I'm really ignorant about it. Perhaps someone here can get me up to speed, especially regarding what sort of handloading compontents I might want to package for this rifle. Who makes dies, for example?

    Alternative .408 bullets

I know some of you are not aware that Rocky Mountain Bullets in Philipsbug, MT. (406)498-1934 are making .408, lead core-copper jacket match grade bullets, 420gr., 874 bc bullets. Just alittle FYI for for the .408 cheytac shooters.
