Colt upper
Good evening, a friend of mine just gave me an upper tonight, and was wondering a few things. It has a C and a M on the right side of the upper receiver. It has just a C stamped on the bolt carrier, and it has a C MP with on the barrel. Is this a colt upper, bcg, and barrel? I cant post...- M.Saunders

What optics for a Colt M16A1 carbine circa late 19
I'm getting a Colt M16A1 full-auto carbine ( model 653 )in the 9.5 million serial number range.I'm guessing that it's late 1970's. It has the fixed carry handle with hole for attachments. Can anyone suggest a period appropriate optic, military style, for this rig?- abnrgr
