    Rifle Scopes GenII mil dot VS GenII XR

    Opinions? The scope will be going on my GAP 308. Range used for is 0-700 yards 99% of the time. Will be used for deer hunting some. I was planning to get the GenII XR, but am wondering what you guys thought about the Gen2 MilDot.

    Rifle Scopes Red dot for AK or scope

    My friends dad just bought an AK.223 and want's to mount a red dot or scope, I told him to mount a red dot because its made for combat not sharp shooting, I think he is old and can't see to well. Either way what do you guy recommend? as far as the red dot it has to be from 1-3 moa. Thanks guys

    I tried the test put together by mr Thunder and well failed. I would like to be at least semi proficient at mil dot ranging. Is there a book out there that can help me.
