Hi Y'all,
I finally took home a Rugged Radiant 7.62 suppressor (loving it) and I'm looking to try to maximize its mileage by getting a compatible muzzle device for my 5.56 AR-15. Rugged has a 2-port 5.56 muzzle brake as well as a 5.56 flash hider, and I'm intending to use the AR for maybe local...
Hello all,
I just bought a Honey badger which has the default cherry bomb muzzle device as well as a Dead Air Sandman S suppressor and I am wondering if there is any way I can attach that suppressor to my honey badger without having to remove the cherry bomb? I know the Dead Air's keymo mount...
I just finished putting together my first "custom"-ized rifle which I've named (perhaps unoriginally) "Longsword". The name is derived from Lord Capulet in Romeo and Juliet when he says, "Give me my long sword, ho!" I'm a huge Shakespeare fan and, I hate to admit, Romeo and Juliet is my...
Came on a rifle I traded for and I don't need it anymore. First generation from what I can tell, deep socket. $80 shipped OBO

(Sold) Selling an AAC Mizzle Brake I took off my Seekins SP10. I sold the gun and no longer need the brake. I’ve only got one shim with it, so depending on your rifle threading you may need to order some extra shims. $50 shipped.
The best local rifle shooting competition I have close to me at my range is an F-Class 500 yard match. (well 547 yard, because we shoot to the 500 meter line, because we the 500 yard pit has not been made yet) The rules of the shoot due to the close proximity of shooters on the line is that...
I am an ex baseball player and have had shoulder injuries. Even shooting my .30-06 bothers me after multiple shots.
What is a good clamp on muzzle brake or inexpensive brake? I really do not want to spend the money to get my barrel threaded. What are the best clamp on brakes and are they...
I'm a novice shooter who would like to learn long range shooting in the 500-1200 meter range. I went to a local shop to ask questions for a good bolt action rifle. We talked about rifle type, cartridge and possibly a muzzle brake to make shooting easier on the shoulder. I would like to do a...
I need some advise. I have a custom Remington 700 308 with a 25" Bartlein barrel that shoots great. I get 2700fps out of it with FGMM 175 SMK, and 2760 fps with my handloads. I have decided to get a Surefire SOCOM 762 RC can that I want to use on it. The can will serve across multiple 308...
Forgive me if Im posting this in the wrong area but it is a stupid question. When measuring barrel length I know its breach to muzzle but I have a brake on, do I include that if so why its not rifled and technically speaking the bullet has exited the barrel when its in the brake.
I don't have the stats in front of me, but I'd guess over 50% of the brakes you'll see at a PRS match will be JEC Customs brakes.
Slightly unscientific test I did , but it just shows how well the brake works.
I have a Miculek brake on it, but still can't see where I'm hitting during matches, even when firing from a rest. This makes it a bit difficult to correct my settings.
Does anyone know of a brake that does a better job of controlling muzzle flip?
Thank you,
Richard
A few months ago, I ran across a great post by jasonk that many of you guys may be familiar with. It had some very interesting info in it, so I asked Rich Emmons (the guy who originally compiled the data) if I could do some analysis on it, try to find patterns, and see if I could find good ways...
