Gunsmithing Trigger job - Beretta 92

I have a Beretta 92FS pistol that I want to have some trigger work done on. Does anyone have any advice or opinions? I've heard you can change out the hammer spring with a lighter weight spring and it really helps. Does anyone know if that's true?

    Gunsmithing Removing AR trigger slack?

I did a search but didn't get what I was looking for. Can this be a DIY task? I'm not a "smith" but I am comfortable with shop tools. I've done other tasks with the AR such as assembling a stripped lower & upper. Thanks in advance.

My TRG trigger was binding up, I could not adjust it out, amoung other problems with it. I sent it in to Beretta for repair. What they did was just send me a new complete trigger mechanism (thank you Beretta). The problem I am having now is when I installed it and tested it with a snap cap I...

    Gunsmithing X Mark Pro Trigger

Today started with plans to re-adjust my xMarkPro Remington trigger. I had previously adjusted the trigger to a much lighter weight than it came from the factory with, but I was still not happy with it. While adjusting the trigger and looking at the barreled action mounted on the SPS Hogue...

Advanced Marksmanship When the problem is trigger and not rifle.

Zero'd my new USO/Horus today, then shot three rapid-fire dot drills of five shots in ten seconds. I find the 3/8 Dot targets are great for zero work - I thought I had to adjust one more tenth of right windage, but the dots told me I have trigger issues with my third and fourth shots in a string:

RRA 2 Stage Nat. match trigger vs. Rem 700 40X

I went to the range today. I just mounted a Vortex optic in a Burris P.E.P.R. 1 piece mount and wanted to get it sighted in. All in All The rifle and scope performed well. The kicker was the trigger difference. I only took my RRA along so I could get what I needed to get done, done. I have been...

    Sako Quad Trigger Guard Project

Just got the first unfinished proto-type from the shop. I'm having them move the front of the loop closer to the receiver screw so it is more like the factory, that way you have a little more room if wearing gloves. The special tool will be here soon so the outside of the guard will have a...

    Cleaning a Rem 700 trigger

If I remember correct, I read somewhere that the best method is to use cigarette lighter fluid. I have been doing a lot of shooting lately in very powdery dirt and my trigger pull is now anywhere between 2-4 pounds from shot to shot. Any details or recommendations?

Gunsmithing Jewell trigger, remove the rem style bolt release?

Have a jewell trigger with the rem style bolt release. Got a new action with a side bolt release. I know what happens when taking rem triggers apart, but would hate for this jewell to go "boing" when taking out the two large pivot pins, to remove the bolt release deal. Anyone ever successfully...

    Gunsmithing AR Trigger Groups?

I have been wondering about AR trigger groups. Will the AR-15 trigger groups, like the 2 stage type, fit in the 308 lowers like the DPMS LR-308 lowers? I have been thinking about putting a 2 stage trigger in the Lower I built and figured I had better find out if they will fit before I try it.

    Rifle Basix Savage MkII trigger?

Anyone have one of these? As much as I try to like it, I really do not like the accutrigger on my BTVS. The pull weight is fine, but the little lever and my finger don't agree.
