    Hey all,

I’ve agreed with some buddies to take part in a local monthly competition, however because I’m a smith I had to agree to a few rules to “handicap” me. Here is where you can help!

TAKE MY MONEY! Sell me something that fits the following:

    1. I am not allowed to build my own handgun or use one already owned.

    2. Cannot spend over $1500.00

    3. Must be a factory gun, ready to go. (Sorry no Sunday night special Glocks put together while watching America’s Funniest home videos. 😢) it CAN be pretuned or modified, but the base model has to be a regularly offered sku or item.

    4. Must be 9mm, 40s&w, or 45acp.

Red dots are allowed. No limits on barrel length, brand, etc. BUT it must be a gun offered for sale regularly.

It cannot be a revolver and must be capable of carrying high capacity mags, possibly with extensions if needed.

Consumables like mags do not count toward the limit.

If anyone has something super sneaky and special laying around, contact me!

I didn’t make the rules but now I wanna make them cry when I show up with something really cool or ridiculous. 😂

Thanks in advance for anyone’s help!

STI Eagle, 40 S&W, have a handful mags also

i have an eagle (STI 2011, 1911 doublestack) in 9mm and it's an awesome handgun in 2 & 3 gun. if explorer is apparently willing to sell his for under 1.5k and it's in pretty good shape, you're not going to find much better than that at that price. if you re-spring it to shoot 40 minor (Atlanta Arms sells it if you don't reload) it will be one soft-shooting gun.

This is an easy answer: CZ shadow 2. Falls well under your budget, is production class ready and a damn fine gun. I have over 15k rounds on mine with zero issues.
If you want a striker gun that’s comp ready then the Sig p320 X5 legion. Under $1000 and also a damn fine gun.

Personally though, the Shadow is leaps and bounds above the p320. Both are nice though

Does it have to stick to any other rules? Are we talking something that would be legal for USPSA Carry Optics? Or are We saying something that would be in limited or open is fine too as long as it’s available to the public and under $1500

No rules. Can be anything that is a production gun. Can be modified in any way with any sights, any optics, etc…

The price limit was set by friends to keep things fair with their guns. There’s a little wiggle room, or I can toss in something for trade. They just want me to keep the cash portion around 1500, lol.

Fully comp set up G34 make an offer.

Get a Springfield Xdm 5.25 right out of the box it’s fantastic for your situation. Comes with three high caps, holster and two mag carrier. Sights are awesome for comp type shooting and it has a match barrel. Run what it comes with and show your buddies how a pistol for $700 holster and all can get it done. If your allowed to put a trigger in it the powder river is nice but the stock trigger is legit. I bought this exact setup for my wife to use in uspsa and 3 gun years back and I’m utterly impressed every time I use it or watch her shoot.
