Poor Pro Tip:
Wrap Electrical tape around the bolt body to help eliminate slop.
For added customization , Use brightly colored Electrical tape. this can be done along the barrel as well.

It’s a Caldwell from Walmart. I think it broke while tightening the screw that secures it to the plastic swivel. When I went to preload it just folded over.

The bipod stud did not "break" on it's own... It broke because you were gripping it too tightly under adrenaline, since you knew you had only one chance to nail that murderous incel freak before he killed more people inside that apartment building, right?

If you think I have hoseclamp money you are sadly mistaken. Luckily at my range there’s a trashcan where rich guys throw away their factory stocks when they get a chassis. Was able to score perform a fix. Prob 200x better but not Arca rail so still garbage.

I bought one in 243 with a youth stock for my daughter. She learned to shoot and killed several deer. We took the trigger and worked on it till it was breaking nice without the crunchy take up.
Over the years I have taught several youth to shoot with it and taken them hunting. I don't have any of those pictures on my phone but there's several now young adults that killed their first deer with it. Factory 85 grain Winchester would shoot sub moa at 100.

Damn that picture reminds me of a video I watched a few years back where a guy was making the argument that the .308 was more accurate than the 30-06. The 308 was a 700 and the 30-06 was a 770, he shot both fucking awful but the 308 was marginally better, like 2.5 vs 3 inches

He then proceeded to say this proved the 308 was more accurate and then complained that the bolt kept coming out of his 770. All I could think while watching the video was “my brothers shot out Garand fucking shoots better than his 308.”
