Hi. I just purchased a Tikka T3X TAC A1 in 6.5 CM. I am likely going to pair it with a Vortex PST Gen II 5-25x, defender flip ups, Harris/Larue bipod, and a 38mm high Spuhr mount. I need some advice on deciding between 0 MOA or 20 MOA rings. I live on Long Island where the furthest range is 300 yards, so most of my shooting will occur between 100 and 300 yards. With that said, I would like to take this rifle upstate or out into PA to stretch its legs. Will I have issues at 100 yards with a 20 MOA mount? and approximately how far could I stretch it out with a 0 MOA mount. Thank you, this is a new field of shooting for me!

Since the scope you are intending to mount has enough elevation travel to comfortably get a 100yd Zero with a 20MOA cant, there's no reason not to have it. Better to have it and not need it, than need/want it and not have it. If the scope had a very limited amount of elevation then it could be an issue but in your situation with that scope, there's not real downside.

The only cavet would be if, at some point, you were to decide to use that mount with a rifle with a 20MOA picatinny base. That would be 40MOA of total cant which would/could bottom out the scope.
