So I ended up trying to start over developing a load for Savage 10 and started with trying 10 shot load development. Well actually I did 11 shots from 40g-42g in .2 increments. I'm running hornady once fired brass, hornady 140 eld m bullet, h4350 and cci br2 primers. 2 of my rounds jumped up about 100fps and went back down next round 41gr and 41.4gr. What am I doing wrong there?I'm using forester co ax with Redding full length dies and chargemaster lite for powder and double checking on gempro. Any advice where to go next will be much appreciated. I'm very new to reloading so if I missed some sorry. I'm also using the magnetospeed sporter for chrono. 41.6i must have shot to quick or whatever but it did not read on chrono.

what Chrono were you using? also, I would do the test with 2-3 rounds each to get a better understanding of what is going on with the charge.

I wouldn’t sweat that shot, you probably just had more grains than you thought

I would focus more on the 41.8-42 based on the numbers you provided.

for the chrono, I would check the sensitivity settings and make sure it is on the right one. if it is too high, sometimes mine will through a high number when I switch between my ar and my 260 rem. I have to adjust sensitivity due to the different barrel diameters.
