Hunting & Fishing 100 Yard Coyote Shotgun load

Fact or fiction......I was skeptical until I did this test this morning...

I've seen 2 Coyotes hit then ranged one @ 89yds and 101yds both with 3.5" 0000 buck

You shooting pumps or semi's?

I guess 1 or 2 rounds wouldn't kill ya, the last time I shot 20 rounds from a pump goose hunting I felt it.

Both guys that pulled them shots off run remington 11-87's. Shotguns take a pretty good beating runnin the way we do so I stick with a cheap 870

There are several sub-species of coyotes and they can vary greatly in size from one area of the country to another. Here in the midwest they vary a great deal from one season to another, in the thickness of their coats. I have a couple of WMA's that are shotgun only and I use #4 buck, however these areas have dense cover and the shots are usually 50yrds or less (IF, you can sucker them in that close).
