100 yd AR15: Iron sights or Red dot ?

This build is just a plinker, I have other toys for longer range.

Would I be happier with flip-up irons, or a Red Dot ? I'm truthfully torn.

When my eyes were younger I'd of said fixed irons.
Old eyes say red dot.

Red dot for sure. Easier to zero and easier to shoot well in my experience when comparing apples to apples.

Definitely a red dot. The Sig listed above is a good option. You could also put on some Magpul flip up irons if you wanted both.
