I am wanting to start shooting some 1000 yard matches and am looking for some paper targets to practice on. I believe the ones they shoot at my club have a 5 inch 10 ring. Anyone know where I can find some?

pistoleer.com prints both the full size and repair centers plus don't need to buy big quantities. shipment is quick also. just bought 100 300 yd. f class and came in less than week.

Here is where I bought them when I ran the High Power program at our club.

The one you are looking for is LR F-Class
It is what is termed a "repair center", which means you glue it over a normal long range full target to get the correct center.

If you need one full face long range target to be able to glue repair centers to you could probably talk the match director wherever you compete at into giving you one. Other than that, so far as I know, you have to buy a box of 100. A big waste of time and money because you probably only need 1 or 2.

Re: 1000 yard paper targets?

Assume you're shooting F-Class if X ring is 5". The 1000 (and 800/900) yard target is labeled LRFC. It is a target center that is pasted over the standard LR target for matches. You can just use the target center for practice.

For reference; 300 is MR-63FC, 500 is MR-65FC and 600 is MR-1FC

Pistoleer is good site. If you google official NRA targets you'll get a listing of other vendors who can sell these targets too. Buy some pasters too, you can paste the holes and use targets multiple times.

Re: 1000 yard paper targets?

Another +1 for Pistoleer.com... if you are buying multiples of 50 or 100 (depends on the target) other places might have better prices, but for the individual buying a few targets to practice on, Pistoleer.com is the only one I've found that sells in smaller quantities. Assuming you're not going to need a fresh face or center every single time you put the target out, they should last a while with only one shooter...
