Hey guys,

Since the Berger 105's Hybrid are not easy to get what alternative would you recommend?

Is the 105 RDF is still the same junk as the first lot numbers when they released them?

Heard rumors that their tooling was due to be changed.. Since they were wanting to sell they didn't invested in them.

Maybe Nanamo group gave them a tight budget and they struggle.

I always found Scenars to be easy to tune however I’ve been trying to get a new 6x47L to shoot and tried some of the 105 gr Scenar Ls and didn’t have much luck and they’re even more pricey than the Hybrids.

I gave another chance to the RDF today with the Dasher. Just lost my time again.

107 and scenars are not really interesting in term of b.c.

I decided to run the 110 smk, accuracy is great but a bit slow in my Dasher.

JLK 105 ( expect 2-3 months from ordering), Hornady 108 eld (Bc isn’t great but it’s very consistent.... Tate streater uses these top 10 prs finale with them ), smk107. Nosler 105 rdf new gen is better than the first gen flop... mine shoot great.

What happened with the Noslers? Did they upgrade their tooling or something? I tried to get them to shoot in a 6BRAI and haven't had any luck, they wouldn't stick with anything sold in a yellow box. Having said that, I have ordered 1000 of them for PRS shooting as the price was good. Not sure whether they'll be the new gen or old since I'm in Australia, but I think for PRS the accuracy will be acceptable.

Thicker jacket on the newer generation. Although there was no press release that I know of, it’s a fairly well known issue they had with a few people quoting Nosler customer service about the 1st gen issue of a thin jacket.

My 2nd gen bullets LOVE 3 groove barrels. Not so much in 5 groove barrels though.

Cheers, I'll keep that in mind for when I need another 6mm barrel.
