Did the search on the 109 ELD M's hoping to find some positive comments about them BUT , almost all I found were "FOR SALE" ad's , which usually means buyers remorse / not really great , there are other bullets that shoot better and cost less ?

Join the contest SubscribeI'm running them to break in a 6gt barrel for first 200 rounds, 35.5 H4350 seated 60k jump in a 170 freebore chamber. It shoots half moa on paper at 400y. Had no issues hitting steel to 1200y, ran some mocked up stages last weekend from 400-990y, only dropped one shot due to a poor wind call. They're running 2820-2830fps and the groups on paper are mostly vertical, so I think a few more tenths of powder up or down will tighten em up. I was running 4dof, at a form factor of 1.002 to get dope to line up at 1200y, I believe this will be around g7 of 0.286, this is in a 7.5tw hawkhill 237 bore heavy Palma. The bullet shoots well.
.287 is what mine worked out toWhat are you guys seeing for a bc??
Early lots of 112s were extremely inconsistent, bto carried by up to 008" in checking a box, pressure ring diameter all over the blace. Shot like shit. I unfortunately bought 1k of em. Have 700 left and they're only used to break in new barrels.. Maybe newer lots are better. I'd rather shoot 115 dtacs VS 112mb. Better bc and consistency. The 109s have been very consistent dimensionally for me.Barnes makes a 112 match burner that shoots pretty good and is cheaper.
I found a huge node in my 170fb 6gt from 90-120k off, they did will at 55 to 70 off as well.I ran out of 108 ELDm for a soon Prairie dog shoot. I have a 200 109 ELDm for a 6mm Creedmoor Bartlein 7.5 Twist bbl. Any suggestions on how much of a jump or jammed into lands?
