Got to love watching kids learn to do something their peers will probably never get a chance to do.
I would have been a jealous kid to hear about the 'kick ass' rifle my friend gets to shoot when I was younger.
BTW...
Tell him he can earn some money, by raking up the all the spent cases/hulls at the range. If he's in the scouts he could use it as community service time toward a merit badge.
