Surely are not suggesting that the police should cease pursuit of someone who had just committed double murder and arson, just because he has barricaded himself inside a structure?
I'm sure the friends & family members of his now dead wife & daughter would love to know that the police had stopped giving a shit because it was too expensive or laborious to wait him out.
You gotta be fucking kidding me. Let's not make this into ruby ridge 2.0, this time the perp is actually a real threat.
I get the whole emotional response "just burn/flood him out cheap", but that doesn't honor the due process we have established in this land. Why have rules if BOTH sides are not subject to them?</div></div>
Because you have a couple types of people. Those that state the most obvious. The shortest path, with no more thought than 5 minutes ahead of the outcome. Being this was posted here, there should be some humor in it. I dont find any, however. Waste of tax dollars? No. If you think its a waste I feel pity on you as you have no true picture of anything past the Second Ammendment.
The other type of person is the type that this 2x murderer is. They probably have a bunker of their own, dreams of shooting it out with the cops, and jerking off to the latest issue of Shotgun News.
I am still waiting for the new trend, where somemone chimes in with "Well he is a gun owner, so he cant be that bad" comment. Been seeing a lot of that. Somehow, support of the 2nd seems to wavier crimes you commit, because some gun owners, the select, few and genetically deficient feel that gun owners as a whole need all they can get.
