In years past there was a thing about the 12 days with the birds, maids milking, lords leaping etc. that starts off where the person that is getting the gifts and is happy, then the maids are stoinking the lords and there is birdshit everywhere and it ends up with them wanting to grab the guy by the throat or something like that.
