I have a 1500.00-ish credit at a gun shop, what should I buy?
I have no need for a spotting scope, binocs, shotgun.
What about a Kestral Horus, maybe a Noveske ar15 considering the waiting list for AR's in CA maybe a couple of glock/XD pistols. A additional upper for my LWRC m6a2 ?
Any suggestions?

Nice problem to have :)

If you already have at least one gun in every category you want one for (i.e. AR, precision bolt, carry gun, hiking gun, plinking gun, pocket gun, hunting guns, etc), then I'd be thinking ammo also.

I love my glocks but at 1500 you could get a decent 1911. Its really hard to say without knowing what you have already. A new upper in a new caliber might be an awesome option as well. Maybe go .300 blackout or 6.5 grendel.

Wait for the retardation to go down unless the prices you can use your credit towards don't include all of the OMG the sky is failling!1!!!11!!! hype.

If it does, your buying power is shit. I'd wait it out unless the credit expires.

Oh a Dillon reloading press just another option to look at.

I thought about that too. Love my Dillion. You have to shoot some volume to have the cheaper ammo offset all the stuff you'll buy to make it work. I passed that mark a while ago, but the real beauty is I have enough components stacked up to shoot for a long time without going to a gun store and hoping there's something on the shelf.

Rock Chucker Supreme reloading set up. The the powder, primers ect. to get you going to make yourself precision ammo and save some bucks when they get around to taxing the shit out of the stuff. If you look around you can get into the R. Chucker for around $250.

I might just pick up a bare bones remmy 700 for a semi custom build? Any suggestions on which model: 700p?
This would give me something to constantly tinker with for the coming year?
Question is: Should I look into a .270, or 308 calibre or should i continue to stick with the 300wm? (I currently have a sako75 300wm)

Money is tight right now, If I could swing another 1500.00 I would love to pick up a Larue OBR, POF, or Gap AR10.
This is why I think the remmy 700 might be a good call. The upgrades are endless as my funds increase.

Now when you say $1500 in credit, is this $1500 they owe you or $1500 in revolving credit at some crazy interest rate? If its $1500 owed to you , then a 5r or LTR and then wait a few paydays and get some glass and rings/base.

Good point roggom, if the OP is considering a credit offer to make payments then I'd say don't do it, get a piggy bank instead. If they owe you money but it's an in-store credit deal then I vote reloading supplies and/or glass assuming they have a decent deal. If they don't have whatever you really want then get their most re-sellable items and you can turn them to cash on here :)

I jumped the gun on a lever action purchase. The owner told me that if I change my mind during the 10 day waiting period I could use the funds as store credit. I am not interested in keeping the lever action.

If you don't have a 1911, I would highly recommend a Springfield TRP.
