Range Report 155 nosler cust. com 308 load help. not goin good

new to reloading so i want to check and see if im startin ok. load is 155 gr nosler 45 gr imr 4064 oal is 2.81. is this a ok startin point. 24" barrel also. thx

hey thx i tried some of them loads with not so good luck. with imr4064 at 44 gr,45 gr,45.5 all seated between 2.80,& 2.81 oal any longer and they dont fit in mag. they sounded like they all echoed and paper print was not a round hole. new at reloadin and 308 ballistics. always had a M-4 in army. could someone please let me know what im doin wrong or what im not completely doin at all THX. runnin out of funds on a narrow $ for fun account for my three boys and self

last year when i couldn't find varget i went back to imr4064.
it works great .good velocity and great (small) group size.45-46g should be fine with 155s unless its in military brass.you could also look at imr8208xbr.one of my bolt guns really likes the 8208 with 155s.
stick with good brass like lapua and match primers (fed210m or cci br-2) and you should have some good loads.

always start off with a lite load and work your way up to be safe.

My lr308 likes this bullet with h4895 start about 42 grs,44grs shoots very well for me in m118lr brass 2750 fps in my 20" ar also shoots very well in my bolt gun.
