17-17.5" 6.8 SPCII Barrel?

Sold my SCAR, to be replaced with another 6.8 for hogs. This will have a LPVO and a clip-on.

I'd like to use the 16" Geiselle Rail with ARCA, but curious who the hell would make a barrel that would allow for a suppressor to just clear the barrel. 17" would probably do it, but it's sort of an odd size.

Anyone have this in stock, or do I need to go custom once again?

Same here. His website is generally up to date with inventory and the only barrels I'm seeing are 10.5, 12.5 (have two already), and 16". They make a solid product at a more than reasonable price.

I think ADCO in ohio will cut, crown and thread for $60 but I would ask them about doing it on Melonite treated barrels.

If you can find a quality 18" barrel then send it ADCO or your gunsmith of preference to be cut down to the exact length you want for it to fit snug against your rail.

I've got an 18" WOA 6.8 barrel that I'm getting cut down to 13.7" for the same reason. Should be the perfect balance for my uses, mostly hunting coyote and occasional black bear.

I was planning to send it off to have it cut and threaded but I've cut enough threads at work

Grumpys in Arlington can help you out in couple of days. I think it’s 125 to cut thread and recrown with thread protector made from cut off portion. He’s done at least four of my guns. Mostly 22s but I Think maybe something else. Dan is a good guy.

Mid length on an 18". I wouldn't go rifle length until 20" or more

I have a 18" PacNor/ARP in 6.8, rest of my ARs use standard ARP barrels.

Pacnor might cut you a custom length once they are rolling again.
