Savage. Held the bolt action prototype at Big Rock in January. Have not seen a production version yet.

Probably not, it seems that the guns that are being made for this cartridge are substantially beefed up over their rimfire brethren.

Savage is building a slightly larger action to accommodate the greater case diameter & higher pressure. Probably would not work on the quad.

Interesting Idea but it sounds like ammo will be in the $18 for 50 range and I load my 17 hornet for half that.... Im worried it may die out fast like the rem. 5mm did. Who knows

where i live during deer season we are have to use a rimfire for night time coyote hunting and this will be great!

I'm looking forward to these coming out. I think they will be a fun little gun.

It`s made from necking down the 27caliber nail gun blank. It`s actually bigger than the 5mm case.

in case nobody got or noticed it, this month's american rifleman does a pretty good write up on the cartridge and rifle.

gotta say i'm intrigued.
