    Hello Guys,

I've been looking around and playing with a couple different loads and have found a load that will work well in my 308 win 10FCP for next deer season. The load consists of:

Lapua Brass, Neck turned to .0125", weight sorted, neck sized.
    CCI BR2 Primers
    43.5 grains of Varget
    Sierra Gamekings, 180 grain, (2160)

The gun shoots it well. Its been holding around 3/8th MOA on a good run of 5 shots. More like 1/2 MOA consistently...

I tend not to hunt farther than around 400-500 yards, but I plan of hitting steel farther.
Shooter puts me at 1118 fps at 1000 yards and 1050 fps at 1100 yards.

Does anyone have experience with this bullet out to around 1000-1100 yards?
How does this bullet compare to the 175 SMK (stability wise) at distance?

The 180 Game King has the same boat-tail as the old 180 Match King (before they changed the boat-heel angle to a shallower angle). It has won 1,000-yard championship matches at Camp Perry.
