I was shooting a 190 @ 2900 in my WSM untill I got a 208 load worked up. I still have a bunch of that ammo that I use for practice, but the wind calls on the 208 are so much easier. That and the 208 at 2830 has less drop and drift. I guess it really depends on how fast you push the 190's. But the factory stuff going at 2900-2950 is easily outclassed by the 208 amax, 210 bergers and 220 smk.

Mine is holding extremely consistent to 1200 with what I have.It is running at 3030fps. Guess I have enough left to kill this barrel, may try to experiment with heavier stuff on the next one.

220's beat the hell out of you. I can take the recoil but why when you don't have to. The 208 shoot great and are pleasant to shoot.

Mine has the A19 chamber and 11.27 twist. Longer wait for the reamer than I wanted but it was worth it, at least to me.
I've tried everything and keep coming back to the 190 smk. Run 71.5grs Re-22 210m's aol 3.535
If I was staying past 1500 I'd feed it 190 Bergers or 208's but 1400 is max close by, and the 190smks get there w/o issue.

Berger 230 OTM, Retumbo and Fed GMM magnum primer. My load shoots very well out to 1000 (as far as I have access to) and, because of the FTE brake, does not beat me up at all.
Previous to that I used the 190 SMK with IMR4350. It worked well too but the 230 OTM really slices the wind.
