I'm not Trigg, but those grips look like VZ Grips Operator IIs. Those screws are also available from VZ.

Re: 1911 Opinions.....STI....SIG...

Hey there everyone. I'm a new member to this site and like what I am seeing in it. As far as the Kimbers I havent bought a new one in a few years but I do have a Custom 1 and TLE and they have been faithful shooters for years. Love them to death and are some of the favorites in my collection.

They are the VZ Operators II like Kevin_Deaton mentioned. The screws are ugly, but I opted for hex and slot to just in the event I don't have the hex tools for some reason.

Trigg's VZ Operator's are nice grips, I've got them on my SA Micro I carry-but gotta warn those that are thinking about trying them-they are very rough, don't even think about carrying them next to skin (ask me how I figured that out!).

Hah, yeah. An undershirt helps, but they are still very pointy. The grip feels very positive though compared to the factory STI grips.

Re: 1911 Opinions.....STI....SIG...

Seems I'm not the only fan of VZ grips. I use them on my single stacks as well. I wouldn't carry a gun with operators though! The original gatorbacks are fine for every day use.

Wow, nice SVs. Big money there for sure. I just sent my STI to Cheely Custom Gunworks to get the slide lightened. Will have pics this week.
