How is the guy whose guns were taken supposed to perform his civic duties as required by the militia act of 1792? Should the President need to call on his area in a time of need, he'd be responsible for having to pay the fine of at least 1 months pay, to as much as 1 years pay.

No reason any citizen walking amongst us and not in jail should not enjoy all the freedoms of every other citizen... if you need to restrict them then they should be in jail...no half free bullshit..you are free or you are not

Anyone that supports partial freedom is as bad as the other side that wants to tak your rights..

If these are persons that have been adjudicated to be prohibited, ie lost their rights through failing to respect the rights of others or have been determined through a lawful process to be a threat or harm to others, I see no issue.

This isn't the roving patrol confiscating firearms from law abiding gun owners that everyone thinks it is. Confiscating firearms from felons and the mentally ill isn't exactly unpopular (deersniper and AJ excepted). And, much of their time is in enforcing the existing NICS process. They are retrieving firearms that were sold after a NICS check hold expired, but subsequently came back denied. Remember if the hold expires, the law says they have to release the firearm to the buyer.

Do you pay attention to the questions as your checking them off? Why does it ask if you’ve spent more than a year in jail? On the same line it asks if your a felon? So if you do a year in jail your automatically a felon? Did you know a misdemeanor charge pending in another state classifies you as a fugitive from justice? Even if said county has your physical and mailing address and has refused to extradite even at your insistence? What happened to innocent till proven guilty.

You guys need to go read a history book. No, people won’t do anything, till they’re attacked and have no choice. They won’t act till they’re enraged by a massacre, or the government tries to seize a powderhouse, or they see their friends and neighbors getting trampled.
