1st PLACE TEXAS RANGERS!

So awesome! Been a fan since the 80s and have seen them play in Rangers Stadium, Ballpark in Arlington and Globe Life. We went to spring training in Surprise, AZ this year then got to see them in Game 1 of the ALCS in Houston then Game 1 of the World Series in Arlington! It’s a memory I’ll have for a lifetime and hopefully my kids too.
LETS GO RANGERS!

Garcia signed my daughters hat in spring training and she wore in all throughout the season and post season. We saw his 11th inning walk off in Game 1. She’s a fan for life now!

Heck yea! I was at game 1 last Friday as well. I watched them at all 3 stadiums too. Glad to see them finally make it after all these years !

Not a baseball guy excepting come playoffs, but have to think keeping Sborz in for the 9th instead of the expected LeClerc had to screw with the D-backs a bit. Cagey move?

AZLong, is this you flipping off the Rangers' pitcher?

It was a good series, except game 4. WTF was Arizona thinking pulling their starting pitcher in the 1st inning? I was pulling for Texas, but damn, that was a dumb move.
Congrats to the Rangers. It would have been good to see Nolan Ryan there, instead of listening to that idiot Smoltz.

Nope. I was at the last one in 2001. Game 6. One of the most boring games I have ever seen. 12-0 after 3 innings...

I didn't even know the World Series was going on. Ive tried to eliminate all organizations that support immoral principles. I gave up on all pro sports about 6 years ago. Thinking about all the time I spent watching NFL football. I loved it, but they don't get my money or attention anymore. Probably an echo chamber on this forum, but I think it is important to remove my money from their pockets.

Soapbox:

My opnion, but giving them attention or money is like selling your enemy weapons to use against you. I guess, I expect better from the people on this forum, but more important than my opinion, is a person's freedom to support whatever they want.

MLB fiddled with woke policies over the years, all ML sports do, but they threw themselves into straight up politics over the Atlanta All Star Game by pulling it and giving it to Denver over a Georgia voting law that Colorado was more strict on from the get-go.

They’ve been dead to me ever since. Not one out, not one hat, not one dime.

Sincerely,
An Almost Lifelong Cubs Fan

P.S.,
I’m happy you’re happy @Stevo86, in 2016 I felt the same way.
