Does anyone build stainless steel bottom metal for a 700 type rifle? If so, how does it compare to the well thought of Seekings, Badger, etc.
When would you recommend a uni-mount over just rings? It is a matter of unnecessary weight or something else? I am building a McMillian A5 with a BAT Tactical actions my first tactical rifle and because of the delivery time on the stock, I have time to research each component.
