Rifle Scopes 20 MOA Remington 700 LA base -- Seekins or Larue?

Re: 20 MOA Remington 700 LA base -- Seekins or Lar

heatseekins,

I have left messages before and never gotten call back, so I continued to call and leave messages until I received my orders or my questions were answered. I understand that you have a small amount of people on the phone. I love your products and have used them on several of my rifles, and will continue to. It just has been frustrating at times. JAA

10+ year old thread necro, I know…

What’s “the best” zero and/or 20 MOA scope base out there for a Rem 700 LA these days?

I need one that’ll take 8-40 screws; had my LA receiver worked over a good bit when I had it rebarreled in 280 AI, and plan to eventually stretch it out past 1K yards…if I can become a better shooter, LOL

Thanks y’all!

EGW fits the bill, and looks gtg. Anyone here using these? Any issues?

Have some time still as I’m starting out with my Zeiss 3-18 in direct mount rings on this ‘new’ rifle, but want to eventually move to more scope with whatever rings are needed…hence the desire to have a solid base upon which to place the optic.

I use them on all my rifles. No issues. Torque to 20-25 inch-pounds.
