Rifle Scopes 20 or 30 MOA Rings

Hey Guys,

Looking for some advise on 20 or 30 MOA rings to fit on a DPMS-LR. It already has the base, so I guess tapered rings are the only other choice, right?

might want to look into Burris Signature Zee Rings...they have +/- .10 inserts. I have them and I was able to get an extra 20 MOA by using the +.10 insert on the back ring and the -.10 insert on the front ring

i have seen some sloped bases that clamp on to the top of an ar and you can use standard rings. i think barrett has some new rings that can be tilted then tightened.

Just looked at them... That looks like it will fix the MOA problem, but it looks like the only think they have is 1.620 inches high. Now that's REALLY tall rings. I don't see where they have anything shorter.

I have Burris Sig Zee 30mm rings on my lr308. They come with flat and 10 moa inserts, so you can basically mount flat, 10moa, or 20moa (use 10moa inserts on both ends). I used High. On a AR you probably need extra high for most applications, on the lr308s with the raised rail you probably need high for most applications. A low or medium would have the eye piece hitting the rail. If you want to use standard rings you can use a Badger Ordinance 22moa rail adaptor ($95) or a EGW 20moa rail adaptor ($105-120). There are several forward bases that have cant built in, like larue and nightforce but they are quite expensive.

With the information from Fast Freddie, I started searching this morning, I found the Badger Ordinance and EGW rail adapters... I think that I like that solution better than the slant rings. Still looking though...

I have a Leo Mark 4, but I'm about 5 MOA short at 1000 yards... The Leo shoud do it, but not this time. I wonder if the picatinny rail / receiver is not quiet spec.

The Barrett ExRings are a good height for most people shooting the DPMS/AR10 type rifle. The current model offers 15MOA or 40MOA and the new model to be released after SHOT show will have 20MOA and 30MOA settings.
