I just wanted to state that I was happy with my 20" Proof 6.5 barrel, and give some feedback. Groups with 143 Hornady factory ammo range between .3 and .5. Groups with 147 Hornady factory ammo ranged between .4 and .6. I had strong vertical stringing initially, and it went away after the first barrel cleaning, and re-installing the PRS stock instead of the lightweight rear end. Probably eye position is my thought.

    147 FPS was 2605, ES was 2. Yes, 2.

I am using a Superlative adjustable gas block on this, and the gun is a JP LRP-07. I shimmed the barrel extension for a tight fit, and used Loctite green.

    1. Pic attached.
    2. I bought a 4 pack of shim stock sheet from amazon. Measured the upper with an inside spring bore micrometer. Outside with a regular mic. Took the difference and divided by 2 since the shim wraps around the barrel extension to take up slack, and cut a strip off to wrap around. Coated it all in loctite green and hammered it in with a sacrificial muzzle brake on the end of the barrel.
    3. In using factory 147 hornady ammo. No load to see here.
    4. This one isn't cangas. I get the same sort of benefits as cangas by using JP VMOS.
