alright guys time is running out and the countdown has started until the great sausage fest of 2012. Steve asked if we could get a headcount going so he can ensure there is enough camping space and enough food layed on for the fish fry and hog roast. So I figured hell just throw up a thread. So this is the place to throw up your interwebs RSVP with how many will be in your group. dates are June 8th, 9th and 10th

Also use this thread to ask Steve what items to bring or not to bring so he's not gettin 10 million PM's or any general questions about the event.

MC's notes,
- though shooting is ok and encouraged, it is NOT the main idea with this gathering, the intent is a relaxing weekend of fishing, drinking, camping, good food, and putting a face with hidey hole screen names.
- most of the main meals food is provided but snacky cakes, beer and booze is on your own.
- drink responsibly, dont be "that guy"
- alchohol and guns DONT mix, so dont try it.

- if you are not planning on camping on the grounds the closest accomodations are at the Owensville Motor Inn

Bringing myself for all the dates. I am also bringing a couple large water containers, multiple bags of chips, couple BBQ sauces, a large canopy cover so we could put that over the food table from the sun or whatever it needs to be used for, and some common medical supplies. Will update the post if I can think of some other things.

i'm bringin a dueling tree, a pop up tent roof thingy and probably cookin the best pancakes you have ever eaten if Steve builds a massive griddle

Chatted with Steve last week(shout box style in between the tenga egg and fleshlight talk), he was gracious enough to allow this city boy onto his property. No word on what type of hazing or ass-slappery is involved but I'm into it so it's cool...

Got a couple issues to work out before I can commit.

I'm in Denver the week prior and driving so 2 road trips back to back might be tough, and I'm closing the company books for May that week. If I can swing Friday off I'm in, if not I'll have to think hard about driving down for just Sat night.

Then there is the fact that I'm really a city boy and will have to procure a tent and other basic camping necessities.

That being said, seeing as how i may not know until last min, if I can make it I'll bring my own food so as to not mess up the count.

If I do roll back to back road trips I might bring my buddy secret squirrel with me just so I don't fly solo. This too is up in the air.

I have it scheduled off work so I plan on making it down Friday unless something comes up. I'm going to try and get a pop up camper and bringing a canopy or 2. May bring a big pan of baked beans if anyone wants them.

Im headed to Florida on the 10th with the fam. It would be rough on the wallet with gas money and I dont think I could drive 10hours back here and then 7 hours to Florida in the same day. Sorry guys, sounds like lots of fun. Thanks for the invite

A couple people have contacted me about picking up Ammo that weekend to save on the shipping. That's totally cool with me but please get those orders in ASAP as I am busy the next 3 weekends before the Party and I'd rather not spend that weekend working!

Unfortunately, gents I have to miss the gathering.

Just got back from Denver and find that work is sending me to Ukraine in a couple weeks and I have to tie down some personals here in short order because I may be gone a while.

I do want to say that I'm really disappointed I won't be meeting you all(especially the vjj, TS sandwich), and send a special thanks to 762 for his hospitality. Its really nice of you to have offered up your property and your time for something like this and should be a really fun time with a lot of laughs.

I'll see if I can ship some tenga eggs down for the party in my absence though... lol
