Unfortunately the Starbuck kiosk didn't make it in for the Grind. Too many other competing priorities, it just missed the cut. Maybe next year.
Between training classes and trying to get in the mix for the Precision Rifle Series points we have been pretty busy. All the major muscle movements for the Grind are complete though. Just some final tweaks, touch ups and we will be ready to finalize the COF. George will be down in September to see if I met his intent in the flow and design of the match. Like I said earlier we still plan on getting some video out before mid September.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">COF UPDATE</span></span>
Expect to make each shot count and be efficient with your time/movements. The match will be very K&Mesque’ in applying the “Precision” in precision rifle and covering the entire spectrum of our sport/profession. There are not a lot of high round count stages. Most will be from 5-10, with the occasional 10-15. Expect roughly 25 total stages for the match. Only 8-10 rounds will be on paper for this match. There will be an even distribution of distances, with close to a third of the COF divided into each of the 100-350 yard ranges, the 350-600 yard ranges and the 600-1000 yard ranges. Targets size will be fair for all levels of shooters.
Below are some of the completed additions that we will utilize in the COF. Get to training!
K&M Shoot House - We substantially increased the training versatility of the Shoot House recently. We could run dozens of completely different stages out of this if we wanted to. It is a great prop, but you only get one shot at it this match! Expect to move through multiple levels and engage through multiple openings (not shown) during this stage. I would plan on having to engage a moving target during this stage.

"The Rock" - We added to the Rock a while ago, you can expect to shoot off it and then have to find a "loophole" to engage through during a separate stage.
The Climbing Rope - This is a little flashback to my 2/75 days. Don't worry about it, it is not as hard as it looks!

"The Poles" - This is a great tool to train and test establishing an unrehearsed position with limited support and then reestablishing another position with progressively less support. You'll see five engagements from this stage, four if you "clean it".
The 270 degree range is still new and growing in it's offereings, but this stage will be a small tribute to our LE brothers. Expect to use both inside and out for support.
For you nostalgia military guys, this one you will enjoy. Expect to engage on and around this hunk a junk! (Sorry Bryan, I had to!
